Junior Noah Skolnick and Sophomore Garrett Torres, two students who revived the bass fishing club on the TCU campus, claimed a national championship. They competed against hundreds of the nation's top collegiate fishing anglers to win the 2021 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship.

Wanna Get Away? Hotel Neighboring TCU is Now Open

Is a staycation in your future? Or perhaps you're hosting visitors and don't care to use your spare bedroom? Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU, next door to campus, officially opened. The six-story, 150-room hotel is located on Sandage Avenue, just east of the TCU Police facility off Berry Street. It is the first hotel located this close to campus.

A donor couple who wished to remain anonymous provided a generous gift to the second class of medical students at the TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine in Fort Worth. The anonymous donors funded tuition for the 2021-2022 academic year for the entire class of 60 students at the School of Medicine, in addition to previous anonymous gifts to the school.
