R.I.S.E. Certificate Program

About the Program
The TCU R.I.S.E. Certificate Program is focused on fostering leadership, personal growth, and organizational impact. Participants are equipped with tools, insight, and a supportive learning community while exploring the social change model of leadership
The program prepares participants to become agents of social change and transformation, leaders who can navigate complex social dynamics with purpose, collaboration, and integrity. Leadership in this context is not defined by position, but by the ability to inspire progress and strengthen communities through shared values and meaningful action.
Applicants must be faculty and staff employed no less than .75FTE at TCU Main Campus or .50FTE at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine. Applicants must have at least one year of employment at the time of application.
2026 R.I.S.E. Graduates
R.I.S.E. empowers individuals to:
- Understand The Social Change Model of Leadership through facilitated discussion and activities
- Strengthen their capacity to lead with empathy, clarity, and resilience in complex and evolving environments
- Practice strategies for fostering collaboration, trust, and belonging across diverse teams and communities
- Transform insight into meaningful action that supports a healthy campus community
This program is designed for those ready to lead with authenticity, embrace connection, and help shape a strong and thriving campus.

All sessions will take place from 9 a.m. – noon. Participants must attend all sessions to receive the TCU R.I.S.E. Certificate.
Session 1 – October 16, 2026
Session 2 – November 13, 2026
Session 3 – December 3, 2026 (Thursday)
Session 4 – February 5, 2027
Session 5 – March 5, 2027
Session 6 – April 16, 2026 (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
R.I.S.E. Graduation – May 19, (10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)
