Nathan Chappell, MBA, MNA, CFRE
As a thought leader, public speaker, author and inventor, Nathan Chappell is one of
the world’s foremost experts on the intersection between artificial intelligence and
philanthropy. Chappell serves as senior vice president of DonorSearch AI, where he
leads AI deployments for some of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations.
His subject matter expertise has been featured in several publications, including Fast Company, University of Notre Dame and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy. In 2021, Chappell founded Fundraising.Ai as a member-centric collaboration of nonprofit professionals with a focus on data ethics, data equality, privacy and security, sustainability. He presented the first TEDx on the topic of artificial intelligence and the future of generosity in 2018.
Chappell is a member of the Forbes Technology Council and holds a Master in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Redlands, a certificate in International Economics from the University of Cambridge and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from MIT.
Mary Uhl-Bien
Mary Uhl-Bien, Ph.D. is the BNSF Railway Endowed Professor of Leadership in the Neeley
School of Business at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to that she was the Howard Hawks
Chair in Business Ethics and Leadership at the University of Nebraska. Her research,
focusing on complexity leadership, relational leadership and followership, has been
honored with numerous best paper and two decennial awards. She was noted as the #6
Most Influential Leadership Scholar from 1990 to 2017 (Zhou & Lin, LQ, 2019) and a
Top 50 Undergraduate Professor in Poets & Quants in 2018. Uhl-Bien is active in executive
education nationally and internationally and was a regular commentator for CNBC’s
“Squawk Box” from 2013 to 2018.
Brett Yormark
Recognized as one of the most dynamic and innovative executives in sports and entertainment,
Brett Yormark began his tenure as the fifth commissioner of the Big 12 Conference
on Aug. 1, 2022. He previously held positions at Roc Nation, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment
and NASCAR.
In his brief time as Commissioner of the Big 12, Yormark has elevated the Conference to new heights. He executed a media rights deal with ESPN and Fox that will run through 2030-31. Additionally, Yormark has placed an emphasis on marketing, brand building and storytelling that has resonated across the college athletics landscape. In the first two years of his tenure, he has overseen the early departure of the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas as well as the integration of eight new Big 12 members. Additionally, he led a revamping of the Big 12 Football and Basketball Championships that resulted in revenue and digital engagement highs. Yormark has taken an innovative approach to ensure the Conference resides in places it never has before, creating the first-ever Big 12 Business Advisory Board, executing a partnership with the National Football League to operate a conference-wide Pro Day, teaming up with New York City Parks Department for a summer activation at historic Rucker Park, and bringing celebrity talent such as Fat Joe, Ashanti, Shaq and DJ Khaled into the Big 12 marketing fold.
