Tiffany Jackson

Adjunct Professor

Tiffany Jackson is an adjunct professor at TCU in the Women and Gender department who studies the complex interplay between the Judeo-Christian God and Black women. Her research delves into the nuanced ways Black women hold reverence for the God historically tied to their slave masters, examining the contemporary impact of this relationship on their lives. Beyond scholarly pursuits, she is committed to amplifying the voices of historically silenced women of color in academia. Through womanist performative pedagogy, she provides a platform for their narratives, fostering a more inclusive and equitable academic discourse. Her work seeks to bridge the gaps between theology, race, and gender studies.
