Jorge Martinez

Jorge Martinez assumed the role of HR Assistant for the Horned Frog Battalion in January 2022.  A native of Downey, California, he enlisted in the US Navy in 2012.  He served nine years on active duty, where he rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, before joining the ROTC program.  His shore duties include, an overseas tour at Naval Support Facility Diego Garcia and a tour at the historic Washington Navy Yard in our nation’s capital.  He also completed a sea tour with Carrier Strike Group Nine that included service onboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), USS George Washington (CVN 73), AND USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).  He is married to his wife Eunice of eight years and they have two children, Isabella and Sebastian.
