Mr. Jason Faubion grew up in the central Texas town of Gatesville. He grew up in and around the agriculture industry, specifically in the smaller cow-calf operations and related hay production that are typical of that area of the state.
He received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees from Tarleton State University with major emphasis in Animal Sciences and Agriculture Services & Development. Upon graduation from Tarleton State, Jason began his professional career in agriculture working for a livestock breeding and genetics lab, working with the newly imported Boer goats, as well as cattle, horses, sheep and other livestock species. He later continued his experience in the animal sciences, working as a sales representative and nutritionist for a small feed company in Hamilton County.
Mr. Faubion was a faculty member in the agriculture programs of Central Texas College in Bell County before coming to the Texas Christian University Ranch Management Program in early 2007. Jason maintains membership in several industry committees and associations. He also operates his own small cow-calf herd of Angus based cattle. Jason has two children and reside in Tarrant County.
