Research Description
I work with various materials to extract information about their physicochemical and optoelectronic properties at the nano- and micro-scales, heavily emphasizing surface specific characteristics. There exists notable surface dependance of behaviors at these scales necessitating development of an understanding of such phenomena to achieve impactful application. Applications currently under investigation include solid oxide fuel cells, nano-fluidics, and antibacterial agents.
