Program Affiliations
CPT Betteridge was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Temple University from 2012-2017 where he commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant through the school’s Army ROTC Program and earned a Bachlor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science and both NSCA, CSCS and TSAC-F Certifications. Prior to joining the Army, he gained experience in both personal training and strength & conditioning, training anyone from general fitness to competitive D1 athletes at Drexel University in Philadelphia. In the Army, he severed as an Engineer Officer in the 1st Cavalry Division, 91st Engineers and 2-12 CAV Battalions. While serving at Fort Hood, he had the opportunities to deploy to Germany and Poland on two separate occasions in both 2018 and 2020. He currently serves in his dream job as an Assistant Professor of Military Science with Texas Christian University's Army ROTC Program. CPT Betteridge is an active, energetic, and competitive individual. He is always up for a challenge or some friendly competition in sports or fitness. His interests lie in coaching and training individuals looking to improve themselves to their highest potential.
