Caylie Cox

Biography

Caylie is a Ph.D. student in Rhetoric and Composition at TCU. In 2021, she graduated from Westmont College in  Santa Barbara, CA, with a B.A. in English. She researches Walter Fisher's narrative paradigm and studies writing as storytelling in the composition classroom. Caylie believes that teaching writing as storytelling has the potential to transform students' ideas about composition and gives them the courage to tell their own stories to the world. Outside of school, she loves to bake, put puzzles together, sing in church, and spend lots of time with friends.
