Anna Sims is a culture writer and editor with work in Electric Literature, The Millions, Dame, Shondaland, and Boston Magazine, among others. Her essay “On ‘Booksmart’ Rewriting the Narrative of the Teenage Girl,” was included in the anthology Isn't She Great: Writers on Women-Led Comedies from '9 to 5' to 'Booksmart.' Anna studied English and journalism at Boston University and received her MFA in creative writing from Emerson College. She enjoys teaching literature, writing, and journalism courses.
