Alexis Davis

Alexis Davis graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing in 2024. She centered her undergraduate thesis on analyzing the intersectional experiences of Black Women using theories like Black women’s rhetoric, Black girlhood studies, Black movements, muted group theory, and social death. She specifically dedicated herself to offering accessible resources for Black Women and youth in exclusive environments. She is interested in exploring Black speculative thought by analyzing Black surrealism and folklore to preserve communal knowledge and foster digital and visual literacies among young people. Beyond academia, you will find her enjoying television, movies, video essays, reading, gardening, and spending quality time with loved ones.
