TCU has launched a national search for its next director of intercollegiate athletics, enlisting the expertise of TurnkeyZRG, a premier executive search firm specializing in collegiate athletics leadership. This decision underscores TCU’s unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in athletics as a cornerstone of its strategic vision, LEAD ON: Values in Action.

TurnkeyZRG has extensive experience in collegiate athletics leadership, having previously worked with TCU and several other leading national universities. TurnkeyZRG also assisted with the search for the new Big 12 Commissioner and conducted the NCAA President search, as well as the Big Ten and American Athletic Conference Commissioner searches.

Mike SinqufieldInterim Leadership Appointed
During this transition, Mike Sinquefield has been named interim director of intercollegiate athletics

“Mike is a longtime and valued member of Horned Frogs athletics and his experience ensures that we continue the incredible momentum generated by our programs, our student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans. We appreciate Mike’s leadership and willingness to serve in this additional capacity,” said President Daniel W. Pullin.

“I am honored to step into this role during such an important time for TCU Athletics,” said Sinquefield. “We have an incredible team of student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans, and I look forward to supporting their efforts as we continue building on our strong foundation.”

Search Process and Vision
The search for TCU’s next athletics director will involve input from key university and campus stakeholders and a search committee has been established.
