Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School will present degrees to more than 2,500 candidates Saturday, May 11, at the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on the TCU campus. Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr., and President Daniel W. Pullin will speak at three separate ceremonies at 9 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The morning commencement ceremony will recognize degree candidates from Burnett School of Medicine at TCU, AddRan College of Liberal Arts, Bob Schieffer College of Communication and the College of Education. The afternoon ceremony will celebrate Brite Divinity School and Neeley School of Business. Finally, the evening ceremony will recognize graduates of the College of Fine Arts, College of Science & Engineering and Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences.
There will be a reception for graduates and their families in between the first two ceremonies on the Schollmaier Arena Lawn, and fireworks will follow the evening ceremony. Various events throughout the week leading up to commencement celebrate graduates at the college and other levels.
