Welcome home, Horned Frogs! And welcome back to the celebration of TCU’s Sesquicentennial.
The year will launch with an opening weekend full of festivities that will set the tone for an amazing 2023-2024, and it starts with the re-imagined tradition for faculty and staff – the Welcome & Opening Luncheon.
Faculty and staff are invited on Friday, Aug. 18, to join Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. and President Daniel Pullin in creating a new tradition to begin Opening Weekend. The event will begin with faculty and staff recognitions followed by lunch in Schollmaier Arena.
This unique TCU tradition brings together our newest Horned Frogs with faculty and staff over dinner on Saturday, Aug. 19. Faculty, staff and alumni, volunteer to host a table of new students to welcome them to TCU.
The academic year will officially commence Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Chancellor’s Assembly as the chancellor and other leaders welcome first-year and returning Horned Frogs.
The entire campus community is invited to this Saturday, Aug. 19, event in the Campus Commons with light refreshments, entertainment and, of course, fireworks at Frog Fountain.
On Monday, Aug. 21, the Welcome Home Celebration will applaud the first day of classes. Refreshments, activities, photo opportunities and more will serve as a time for students, faculty and staff to reconnect.
