Nominations are now open for TCU’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award.

“The DEI award is an annual recognition created to honor the challenging task of further transforming our community into one that not only celebrates our mission but also creates a world-class university building on a heritage of inclusion,” said Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. “These individuals will be recognized for providing TCU with the critical voices necessary for change and for their sustained actions to transform TCU by making it an even more diverse, equitable and inclusive institution.”

The 2020 honor was presented to Ebony Rose, senior learning and development consultant in Human Resources.

“I’ve been really lucky to have the support of TCU in developing my own skills as a diversity, equity and inclusion practitioner and as a member of our consulting team in human resources,” Rose said. “There’s really a passion here to find ways to align our current state and our future state as an institution to make sure all of our community members have the best experience they can.”

The 2021 honoree will be named at the 2022 Fall Convocation and will receive a $5,000 award. All finalists receive a $1,000 award and an invitation to a luncheon with other nominees. A photo gallery of recipients will be on display in the Mary Couts Burnett Library.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to nominate faculty and staff members online or via mail to the Chancellor’s office. Nominations may be submitted in either English or Spanish by March 25. Instructions, as well as a full list of criteria and information on the selection committee, can be found online
