TCU’s medical school officially broke ground on its new campus in the Fort Worth Medical District.
“The digging has begun and a new era for the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine has launched,” said Dr. Stuart Flynn, founding dean. “With this new building project in the city's Near Southside neighborhood, TCU's investment in Fort Worth, Tarrant County and the state continues.”
The groundbreaking was celebrated in a light-hearted video.
The four-story medical education building will be located at the corner of West Rosedale and South Henderson streets. It will be home to 240 medical students and hundreds of faculty and staff.
