If you were on campus last weekend for commencement ceremonies, you may have noticed a lot of action happening on more fields than just the football field at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The Horned Frog baseball team played three games vs. Texas and men’s tennis hosted Arkansas and Arizona State in the first and second rounds of the NCAA tournament. In addition, other spring sports teams competed across the country. That meant senior student-athletes were unable to participate in their commencement ceremonies.

Each spring, TCU administration and athletics host a special graduation ceremony for student-athletes who are unable to attend the regular commencement activities due to competition. This year’s spring ceremony was held Monday, May 10, in the Legends Club & Suites, where Provost Teresa Abi-Nader Dahlberg conferred degrees with Registrar Mary Kincannon participating. In keeping with this year’s historic commencement theme, student-athletes who graduated in 2020 also were recognized. Congratulations to TCU’s newest student-athlete alumni!
