Happy New Year! We look forward to your return next week as well as the return of our students in less than two weeks. Spring 2021 will look very much like fall 2020. We continue to improve our COVID-19 protocols and precautions, which keep our colleagues and campus as healthy and safe as possible. Spring 2021 will look very much like fall 2020; we have continued to improve and implement our safety precautions to create a safe and enriching experience. Our community’s health and safety and our dedication to an exceptional academic experience remain our top priorities.

It seems as if you’ve just left for Winter Break, but your Texas Christian University family is ready to have you back with our community, virtually or in-person, rested and well. Especially in 2021, starting a new year is a time of great hope and anticipation. No doubt we will encounter challenges and surprises, but we will also achieve wonderful things together, and live up to our mission.

Texas Christian University received on Monday the first 100 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and began vaccinating available health center staff and other campus priority members, including Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences personnel who assist with patients.

The Brown-Lupton Health Center is one of several local health clinics preparing to receive an initial batch of 100 Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. The university registered with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to be a provider of the COVID-19 vaccination to TCU employees and students.
