COVID-19 Communications

As many of you know, Texas Christian University has partnered with Baylor Scott & White Health and Tarrant County Public Health on a drive-thru community COVID-19 vaccination site at Amon G. Carter Stadium. TCU is collaborating with BSWH and TCPH as a service to our neighbors and to help bring an end to this devastating pandemic.

Today I am thrilled to announce an important community collaboration between Texas Christian University, Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth and Tarrant County Public Health to launch a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination site serving Tarrant County residents. We absolutely could not achieve this without the commitment of our hard-working and mission-serving campus members who work tirelessly on behalf of our community.

We begin again, after a long and restorative Winter Break. We begin with optimism for a healthy new year and we delight in beginning an academically enriching spring semester.

While this isn't our official “Welcome Back” message, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to connect with our community before the start of classes. Students are arriving daily, bringing vibrancy back to our residence halls, commons and classrooms. They're also wearing masks, getting tested and joining faculty and staff in Protecting the Purple so we can have another successful semester.

Happy New Year from the TCU Brown-Lupton Health Center. We are looking forward to the start of the spring semester. Yesterday, students and employees received important reminders about our health and safety expectations.
